About AICO

What is AICO?

AICO is a messenger that translates messages, voice messages and calls with AI. Each person writes and speaks in their own language and reads and hears the conversation in theirs, so nobody has to copy text into a separate translator app. AICO is made by RENVAR INC. in Toronto, Canada.

Is AICO free?

AICO is free to download and start using. No card or subscription is needed to get started.

Which devices does AICO run on?

AICO is built for iPhone and iPad (App Store) and for Android (Google Play). If a store is not available in your country or on your device, the install page also offers a direct Android file (APK) and an iPhone option through Apple's TestFlight. Store availability changes over time, so the install page always shows the current options.

Who makes AICO and how can I contact the team?

AICO is published by RENVAR INC., Toronto, Ontario, Canada. You can reach the team at aico.app1@gmail.com.

Is there an age limit?

Yes. AICO is only for users who are 18 or older.

Translation

How does AICO translate messages?

You write in your own language and the other person reads your message in theirs. The translation happens inside the conversation, so there is no copy-pasting between a messenger and a translator app. The reply comes back already in your language.

Can AICO translate voice messages?

Yes. AICO transcribes the voice message, translates the text and reads it out in your language. The transcript is shown next to the voice message if you would rather read it.

Can AICO translate phone and video calls?

Calls support subtitles in your language. Each person speaks their own language and the translation of what the other person says appears on screen during the call.

Do I need a separate translator app?

No. Translation is built into AICO chats, voice messages and calls. You can delete your translator app.

Which languages does AICO support?

AICO is made for conversations between speakers of the major world languages. You choose your language when you install the app, and the app shows the current list of supported languages.

How accurate is AI translation?

AI translation is very good for everyday conversation, but it is not perfect. Idioms, slang, names, dialects and specialist vocabulary can be translated wrongly, and noisy audio makes voice translation harder. Use short, clear sentences, and double-check important details such as dates, amounts and names. For legal, medical or other high-stakes documents, rely on a qualified human translator.

Features

What are smart capsules?

Smart capsules are tasks that live right inside the chat. You send a task, the other person accepts it and marks it as done, so work with someone in another country stays in one conversation.

What does the AI assistant do?

The AI assistant can suggest a reply, remind you of things that matter, and help you find the right conversation, in any language.

What are communities and channels?

Channels let creators and communities publish posts and videos with reactions and comments. Subscribers from different countries read the channel in their own languages, and their comments reach the author already translated.

Can I use AICO for work or with a team?

Yes. Teams that work across languages can use translated chats, calls with subtitles and task capsules in one place.

Privacy and safety

How do I block or report someone?

You can block and report a user in two taps from within the app.

How do I delete my AICO account?

In the app, open Profile, then Safety Center, then Delete account. Type DELETE and tap Request account deletion. The same steps are described in the Trust Center.

Who can find me on AICO?

Profile privacy settings let you control who can find you.

How does AICO handle my personal data and AI features?

The Privacy Policy explains how RENVAR INC. collects, uses, stores and protects personal information, and the AI Features section of the Trust Center explains how AI is used in the product.

Choosing a messenger

How is AICO different from using a translator app next to a regular messenger?

With a translator app you copy a message, switch apps, paste it, read the result, and repeat in the other direction. In AICO the translation is part of the conversation: text, voice messages and calls are translated where they happen, so the chat keeps its flow.
